Fans throwing stuff at bands and artists still seems to be a problem.

Clothes like shirts and bras are one thing but a bunch of artists and bands are getting pissed and honestly it’s only a matter of time before some dumbass knocks out a performer with something with a little more weight. I honestly don’t get what these people expect to happen

Apparently this is a tiktok trend. People are doing it so they can get the video.

"Fan" throws bottle at Johnny Winter who immediately takes his band off the stage and ends the show.

Probably going to take fans to regulate on shitheads who do this. Maybe if they see a band walk out on their hard-earned tickets, they’ll take care of it themselves. People are so fricking shitty these days.

Zappa was hit w/a beer bottle at a '70s show

He stopped the show & said, "We aren't playing until the a-hole who threw that is in jail."

The crowd slowly parted around the thrower, leaving him exposed.

Mr frick The Establishment Iconoclast watched approvingly while cops dragged off the thrower in cuffs.

Not a new thing. The Beatles mentioned once their favorite candy was jelly beans. They started getting pelted with them, soon after they announced they no longer liked them.

There’s a great Pearl Jam bootleg from 92 or so where Eddie Vedder is complaining about getting hit by shoes and says “I’m gonna stand by the exit and beat the shite out of anyone who is barefoot”

When I saw Metallica in Houston for the and justice for all tour trash got thrown on the stage during the first song. Hetfield stopped the show and said if you see anyone throw another thing on this stage, beat the shite out of them. No more stuff thrown.
But nothing compared to the great trash fight at Monsters of Rock at Rice stadium.

One of my favorites.

NIckelback: "We got any Nickelback fans here?!?"

Crowd: "BOOOOOO!" *rocks fly*

Nickelback: "You guys wanna hear some rock & roll or you wanna go home?!?"

Crowd: "BOOOOOOOOOO!!!!" *rock narrowly misses singer's head*

Nickelback: *trudges off stage*

Went and saw Death Grips here in Fayetteville a month or so ago. They walked out about 20 minutes in after dickheads kept throwing glowsticks at them.

My main issue was that they never came on and said, "Stop throwing glowsticks" and it looked like they were just rolling with it. Staf/Ride walked off stage once when he got hit... still didn't say anything... and it honestly looked like he might have walked off stage just to get a drink or something... then he came back out, got hit again and walked off. The band followed shortly after.

It was weird, because Death Grips are a pretty aggressive band that encourage aggressive behavior, but I also get not wanting to get shite thrown at you while you're on stage.

At the time I was honestly pretty pissed at the band because I didn't see anything that egregious. I'd bought pit tickets for my son and I, and we were really looking forward to the show as DGs are someone we've both listened to for a while. Then.. it ends after about 20 minutes.

In retrospect, I blame the douchebags in the audience, but I do still think it's fair for the artists to say, "Listen. Some people may like getting stuff thrown at them. We don't. If you do it, we will leave."

I heard an interview with a member of The Cars who related a story about opening for Dickie Bettts’ Great Southern. They had to duck a lot. lol

The worst had to be the original Skynyrd getting pelted with bullets when they played "Gimme Back My Bullets".
