I thought it had been established he was there to confront an ex girlfriend and the other women tried to intervene?
My friend can’t shed any more light on what happened besides details of the actual attack and stabbing of one of the victims from behind as she was running and screaming. The suspect wasn’t saying anything during or before the attack. Just chasing her.

Three of the victims are senior citizens. The fourth is a married grad student, so obviously that report was incorrect.

The article alludes to Ruston police going to his apartment recently. Sounds like he has been having issues and someone requested a wellness check.

This 18 year old that saved two of the ladies by driving them to the hospital is probably already on scholarship but Louisiana National Bank should make sure he gets some more. I’ll pitch in to clean his truck.

Brother told me Ruston had a shooting today, the stabbing yesterday, and a shooting the day before.
ETA: The shooting he thought was today was from last week. Bad information, but 2 shootings within the last week.

I lived in house that backed up to a park on other side of I20 and used to have people all time try hit our house and then escape back through the park. Luckily they never were successful because we had the locks and security knowing that.
These morons constantly tried to hit our house while we were home as well.

His profile didn't get lots of updates, it could be that he set that in 2022 and never changed it. Or maybe he left for a while and came back this quarter (Tech does quarters instead of semesters). Or maybe it's just the laziness of news reporting to see that he was a student there a year ago and not bothering to check to see if he still was.
