Or it could be Cameron staked out the no exceptions for abortions. A lot of Republicans still want exceptions for the mothers life, rape and incest.

I'm glad you moved too. One less sucker to fall for the "moderate Democrat" line. You're Kentucky's problem now.

Republicans doing well everywhere except the Governors race. You can’t convince a lot of people to vote R for Governor in this state, so many vote democrat and then straight republican ticket after that.

These same people will vote Trump next year and he’ll beat Biden by 30 here.

For what it's worth...I'm a Kentucky resident born and raised. I voted straight republican...Governor too.
I would have hoped we knocked Andy out the seat.

It usually is but we got hit by the tornado two years ago and Beshear brought in the state and federal aid to us.

Cameron leading Graves County 64-36 which is close to 2019 so looks like Beshear doing what any other person would have done as Governor didn't have much impact.

Andy Beshear is the projected winner.

America is mainstream, not right wing. Full expect Miss gov to be the Democrat, and both houses of Virginia's assembly to go blue.

All this talk of MAGA is killing Republicanism in America.

Official: Beshear wins re-election. All other races stay Republican. We’ll see what happens in 2027.

For the record, Kentucky will still vote for Trump next year. Beshear was too well liked

I was shocked to see all other statewide offices in Kentucky were won by margins for Republicans by anywhere from 11% to 22%. So Kentucky isn't purpling at all.

I know it's impolite to inject race into politics, but the sad reality is that Daniel Cameron was just too white supremacist for today's Commonwealth. His politics was too far right, and Beshear is a popular governor. Beshear really should consider running for president next cycle.
