That is a crazily significant advantage and should be dealt with harshly.


Why is it wrong?

I guess I haven't really delved into this topic of sign stealing in CFB yet. But if there is a camera angle on the signs coming in from Team A's sideline for an entire game and I figure out what plays they are calling, why should this not be ok? Is that was is essentially going on? And computer nerds have gotten involved to place it all in a database and analyze it?

If that is wrong then why is it legal to watch any game film?

There is no camera angle that shows the signs that the teams get from opponents/TV partners, etc.
