They're winning but barely squeezing by shitty teams. Another week, another nail biter against a team with a losing record.

They’re 8-1, so yes they deserve to be ranked.

Good teams find a way to win. Yes, Tulane is struggling right now, but they're still finding ways to win instead of outright losing the games. There's something admirable about winning ugly.

Do they look as good as last year? No. Do I think they can figure it out and go 12-1 this year with Pratt and Fritz? Yes.

More than LSU deserved to be ranked 14.

Weird way to diss your own team that was down by multiple scores late at home and had to make an unlikely comeback to win

Their only loss was to a top 10 team with their star QB out

So yeah they are top 25. Have you looked at some of the other shitty top 25 teams?

Unranked 6-3 K-State.

Lost @ Mizzou by 3
Lost @ Okie State by 8
Lost @ Texas by 3

Tulane beat 1-7 ECU by 3...for reference...and they have more marginal wins. Who you taking? 8-1 Tulane or 6-3 K-State that beat Houston 41-0 and lost that heartbreaker they had in the bag against Texas.

They beat the Big 12 Champ last year and they beat the PAC-12 Runner-up last year away from their home stadium.

The Green Wave proved in '22 that there isn't a massive talent gap in the program between themselves and other top tier teams from the P5.

They now get the benefit of the doubt of being judged by their record this year (Wins and Losses) without having to put up style points until they stumble and lose in the regular season to an unranked team (if they do).

Pratt has won his last eleven starts. Tulane has won its last ten games away from Yulman Stadium. They were tied with Ole Miss, 17-17, with their backup QB in the 4th Quarter.

Tulane beat K State in Manhattan last year, so probably Tulane.

Lost to the same Okie State that got blasted by South Alabama at home? The same South Alabama that Tulane beat by 20? FOH

Since when do teams get ranked based on close losses?

I don’t think Tulane will ever be a school where you complain about being 8-1 but not winning with enough style points
