Well, since my daughter is a cheerleader for the Tide, I can tell you a lot about Alabama...

My sister was too, back in the 2000’s

My nephew is in the Band right now.

I still hate Alabama, but I know a lot about that area/stadium.

It’s a nice stadium. Their campus is also gorgeous. You’ll be a bit envious

Went in 2019.
Very nice stadium. Very good atmosphere. Gets loud in moments just like Death Valley.
Gameday experience is much better. Sound system, in game optics, etc

Why would you say that here

Because the thread is about BDS, I consider myself an informed Tiger Fan about Alabama...having a kid attend there makes me a better source than the casual LSU fan who just hates Bama because it's Bama...

Definitely cleaner looking, better kept, and more cohesive looking than LSU

Obviously Nothing is better than Tiger Stadium, but when you’re talking about overall quality we’re behind in plenty categories. As hard as that is to accept, it’s a fact.

I also like UGA, South Carolina. I like that “clean” (little ads) feel in a stadium, so I put Bama up there.

They only get really load for actions/reactions. Touchdowns or when prompted by the damn screens to get loud. There is no roar just to yell on defense like tiger stadium for a big game. They prefer shaking their Pom Pom to yelling.

I met an LSU family from BR in T town a few months ago... as they were droppings off their daughter to start school

the dad said, "I attended LSU, and I hate to admit this but this place is nicer than my beloved school"

Alabama has spent Billions, B as in Billions in upgrades on the campus since Nick Saban arrived...

it's stupid how nice it is...

Everyone has heard about the GReek life there, it's over the top....it's one mansion after another across the street from the stadium... It's impressive and yet way too worldly IMHO...

If you take a tour there on a none game day weekend, and you begin to understand why they have so many out of state students...

And lastly, I will say this, everyone we've met, has been incredibly nice...so it's been hard to keep the hate after we "learned stuff we didn't know"...

I been 3 times, I really enjoy going.

They have a strip of bars right outside the stadium, good tailgating, nice campus, good BBQ in town.

I think it gets pretty loud, they play music loud as hell right up until the snap from what I remember.

Really nice stadium - Saban is going to demand the best. Very clean architecture - northern Alabama is a nice area so they demand nice things.

But it's a pretty soulless place. Crowd is loud, but nothing special about that place in terms of atmosphere and noise. A very ho-hum experience.

This is the best description I've heard. It's much more updated and cleaner than Tiger Stadium, but then again it's not as old. The atmosphere reminds me more of a NFL game than a college one...light show, LOTS of piped in music, minimal use of their marching band, etc. Soulless is a good adjective to describe Bryant-Denny. Pretty on the outside, but no soul.

Parts of their campus look Rice University type nice (and that is one of the most amazing campuses I've ever seen). Anyone who disagrees that Bama's campus spins circles around LSU's just doesn't know what they're talking about.

Honestly I've always been a little surprised by how friendly the majority of Bama folks are....obviously there are exceptions but the trailer trash bama crowd isn't likely to be attending the game. The more common Bama fan actually there in person is friendly if not a little arrogant...heckling people is generally beneath them as they certainly believe Alabama to be football royalty, which is obnoxious in its own way.

The campus and stadium are nice, though I find it a little too clean and corporate....a professional feel.

Went in 2009 and in 2011 for the LSU games.

The stadium itself is very nice, almost has a pro feel to it, but not nearly as corporate.

They didn't really have much "filler" before the games, no gimmicks or DJ's or anything. The pregame was nice but doesn't have the rowdiness that LSU has once the band takes the field.

I can see why there's a sense that it's a bit hollow, despite 100,000 + fans, because they've become so accustomed to winning. However in 2011, the crowd intensity was comparable to some of the biggest games in Tiger Stadium.

I don't think much of Tuscaloosa, but BDS is worth the visit especially for this game. Probably the best stadium in the West outside of the good guys
