Two weeks

Pelicans say Naji Marshall (right knee bone bruise) has been cleared to increase his rehab activity and begin his return to play process. He will be re-evaluated in approximately two weeks.

The obvious part of the news that no one cares about b/c "muh 2 weeks" is that he's been cleared to start a return to play rehab program

Positive development for Naji... hope for no setbacks in his recovery

Naji can take his time. I want Willie to get used to playing all the shooters.

Yeah let's be real. I love Naji, but there many minutes if any for him once Trey and Jose come back.

Naji should only be used in certain situations. Like a game isn't going well and you just need a dog out there for a few minutes.

Let him go be Naji.

If he's going full Tyreke then no

The injury sucks for Naji but could be a blessing for the Pels, as I'm not sure Hawkins is getting these minutes if Naji were healthy as I feel Naji would definitely be in the rotation right now.

The hope is Hawkins keeps producing and while I'm a big fan of Naji and his role, the best role for him on a healthy team is the 11th or 12th dude in the rotation(which is technically out of the rotation, if you will) who plays sparingly and is inserted into the rotation when we're down a couple of guys.

Agreed, but I do think he always would be good in spots where we just look flat and need to up the pace for whatever reason. Him and Jose always play 100 percent and it lifts the rest of the guys up.

But yeah, he's truthfully a little lower on the totem pole this season.

He's the kind of guy you want on the court when there is a Draymond Green or a Jae Crowder running around playing games

Is the Two Weeks meme funny and a bit irritating that it keeps happening?

Yea

But like I can’t stress this enough, IF we keep winning, there is literally absolutely no reason that we shouldn’t take our sweet time getting people back from injury

If that’s a luxury we have we should take FULL advantage

Optimal Naji usage is 15 min a game with the primary role of being extremely physical with the opposing team top wing player IMO. Naji is the “body blows” in the 2nd and 3rd quarter to wear out the stud wing in the 4th.

Nah, optimal is 0.

Unless we have multiple injuries, then 15 minutes is fine.

If we have no other injuries when Jose/Trey come back, i'd be pretty disappointed if Naji is getting 15 minuets a night.

Wasn't it the 2nd and 3rd last year when the wheels typically came off in most games?

Naji just told me he's a bonafied shooter.
