I just checked C-Span and politico is still reporting that 22 or something say they won't vote for Emmer in a floor vote and he has FTX ties.
so will 22ish democrats crossover and vote for him? maybe if it means protecting their ponzi scheme investments-but it is doubtful.

We're going to get a speaker more to the left than McCarthy that the DEMs will support for this reason (after being the main instigators in ousting McCarthy).
