In it's initial stage .....Trump was informed by the likes of Paul Ryan and others that get what he needed, he had to give what the RHINOS wanted. That's where the original increase occurred ....then we got Fauchi. I still think he needs to be tried and spend the rest of his life in prison ...

Trump lowered taxes and rebuilt the military, first. There is a difference between spending money on military preparedness and spending money on wars overseas.
Nobody else is good on this issue, tbh, so...
I still think Trump is the only one who would make progress on this issue if he were to take it on. He would make it an issue just by the force of his personality.

ISWYDT. Changing the narrative from "No new wars" to "Non-intervention" is moving the goalposts. It's a shame that Trump didn't get a Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts with the Abraham Accords. This administration has gone back to the status quo, which is to stir shite up in the ME and generate a market for weapons and a need for foreign aid. Pursuing global peace may have been Trumps biggest sin in the eyes of the Congressional hawks...
