I would be willing to hire him back. His one year over here in 2015 was underwhelming, but he was very good and a thorn in our side during all his years at Auburn. I think it’s worth giving him a second shot.

Wasn’t there a rumor after just a few games that he was no longer calling plays at bama?

But you would take him back?

The hate on Steele was pretty undeserved. There was no complementary football - you could put 9 in the box to stop LF7 and force punt after punt and wear out the defense.

LSU needs to stop with the old retreads.

I'd really rather we stop recycling coaches.

LSU is a top 5 DC job, especially now that our offense is clicking. We need a top 5 defensive coordinator.

If we're going back to the future Chief would be a better hire.

FTR, CBK has a pretty good track record with DCs. Would love to see if House could cut it with better talent.

And,…..why would he leave Alabama? To come to LSU for the same job? This is his third stint on Saban’s staff. Forget that we had him for one season and fired him because the defense was as bad as we’ve ever seen from a player evaluating competency view,…maybe the worst. In what universe would that happen?
