Wonder what tidbits are going to come out of this. Can only be good for us but how good is yet to be determined. It's possible A&M sent him as insurance, wouldnt be the fiest time, but who knows. As I said likely good considering there are three A&M commits here this weekend.

This is massive, considering Bussey was in town just a couple weeks ago, and nobody really expected a return visit after he committed to A&M.

I wouldn't say lock. Definetly a medium sized lean at the least but considering nobody expected this I would say he is not a lock. A visit while committed generally equates to yeah I'm committed but I will hear everybody out and did not commit when I really should have.

We just gotta be honest here, and while it does hurt and some may call it irrational… just like with simmons, Bussey 9/10 probably wants to be at lsu. But we can’t ignore the reality. If somebody is offering the money that UT and A&M are offering these 5 stars, we’d probably take it too. It is what it is man. Relationships or not. It’s already been said how much money perk turned down to come to lsu but he grew up wanting to come home and rep.

A consideration I don't think the people who complain about our ability to spend is this;
The LSU Brand is possibly the most visible and popular in all of college athletics right now.
LSU is being able to show in measurable metrics what an LSU athlete can earn under the LSU banner if they perform well, and they are outperforming the earnings of comparable athletes across the board.
No, it's not a check that you get when you sign with us, granted, but if you come here and ball out you have the potential to make life changing money before you graduate.
That exposure also gets undeafted free agents, and turns them in to 6th and 7th round picks, and that influence extends all the way up the draft board.
If you come to LSU, you will be a part of that Branding, and that is another resource that needs to be factored in when these guys make their decisions.
The up front money is chump change compared to the back end. You just have to ball out to earn it. Just ask Jayden, Harold or Maason hoe much money total they've made this year.

I agree but a lot of players don’t ball out and make that huge money on the back end. So now it’s about getting money immediately for a lot of recruits and portal players.

Hearing that LSU has made a pitch to Bussey and that pitch involved 400k, yes 400k. They want this dude.
