Censure is meaningless today. The fine was justified

Then why press for it.
And as a matter of principle I don’t want either party in Congress passing out 16 million dollar fines.

Schiff's actions were that egregious. The fine is the only thing politicians like him would understand since they have no conscience and would still feel righteous in their actions.

Sorry, I don’t think politicians should be able to fine anyone. That’s why we have courts.

You think any sitting Congressman would ever face the same justice system we do???
If they want to govern themselves in this effective manner fine by me. They're all there to get richer off of you and I anyway

Graves got Louisiana $1.2 Billion in completely new federal funding called CDBG-MIT from HUD and despite the August 2016 event being focused in about a dozen parishes mainly, that funding has been spent on engineering and construction of projects all over the damn state.
Unfortunately once those dollars get here, the Governor has immense control.
But for people to act like he’s done nothing for us is absolutely asinine. He’s been amazing and will continue to be.
Stupidity still reigns on this board. To think y’all will vote tomorrow is frightening in some cases.

Two wrongs don’t make it right.

If you think Graves’ (alleged) vote against Scalise was predicated on his (Graves’) support for McCarthy, then you know absolutely zero about politics and/or their relationship.
I’ve said it once before and I’ll say it again, the stupidity of people on the Poli Board never ceases to amaze me.
Downvote all day, but I guarantee I know more about DC politics than you ever will.

Graves is on the list of congressmen who have investments that would benefit them if we go to war,MIC

It needs be the common man with a working-class job and living in a cookie-cutter house that is pissed off about the current state of our country.

Ha! There is 0.0% chance Garret loses a re-election bid for the 6th congressional district.
It’s possible he’ll run for Cassidy or Kennedy’s senate seat. And has a good chance to win.
Graves is being demonized because he is in house leadership. Would you rather him not rise in leadership and as a result get less federal $$ for the 6th congressional district for important projects like the Comite infrastructure?

It’s aholes like you who vote for Rhinos that prevent our conservative GOP from changing the Congress back to being responsible to the people instead of lobbyists and corporations.

There are only 8 Republicans left, and that’s not enough to scrimmage.

Graves District will be wiped out in the upcoming redistricting. He has to position himself to work in the DC swamp for the rest of his life.

“Hurr Durrr Democrat ahole!!!!!” LOL
The anonymity of this board makes for some hilarious, completely idiotic people making some hilarious, completely idiotic comments.
The relative intelligence quotient of this board would be raised if 85% of its posters were permanently banned.
Most of you dolts remind me of how Tip O’Neil once described a true Louisiana RINO during his time in Congress. The former speaker once said of Louisiana’s own Buddy Roemer that he was, “Often wrong but rarely in doubt.”
Get bent you dumbasses. Oh and BTW-LA-6 would essentially remain untouched in redistricting. Letlow’s District is the one on the chopping block. Yet another ill informed yet convinced member of the lantern and pitchfork punditry here.

Let’s not forget that his Daddy bought him that seat the first time.
He’s gotten some things done, and is very willing to smack around Federal agencies obstructing things, but his votes often do not reflect the wishes of his constituents.
