South Carolina needs to recall him - this has never been explicitly tested in the courts, to my knowledge. It's believed that a state can't recall a federal politician, but that goes against the Constitution. States own their elections, there is the 9th and 10th Amendments, and he is their Senator, he does not belong to the federal government. Nothing in the Constitution suggests that a state relinquishes control of one of its elected representatives just because that person represents the state at the federal level. That defies logic and undermines the concept of representation.
I say South Carolina should recall him and elect a new senator and send that person to DC and force him out.

I personally think what all I have heard him say makes sense. He has not said a single thing about the US doing the job. He has always said that this is what THEY need/should do.

I agree with the people who attribute the 17th amendment to the Lindsay Grahams of the world.
Imagine being able to raise hell to your local state rep to vote him out instead the popular vote system we have now that is so manipulated? There is no accountability because there isn’t a transparent channel of interaction with those they supposedly govern to hold them accountable.
