The population of Gaza is about 2 million. Nearly half are children.

Millions of innocent people cannot be made to pay for Hamas’ horror.

Collective punishment is a war crime. So are blockades to food and water.

We cannot allow dehumanization to descend into further atrocity.

This is textbook rhetoric of ethnic cleansing that cannot be accepted in any civil society, let alone the United States.

It is an affront to humanity to weaponize this horrific trauma to justify the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians.

It is dangerous and must stop.

I believe deeply that the majority of people of all kinds do not want to see Gaza leveled and innocents killed, & that they feel and hold the pain of Israeli families destroyed.

We must build on our solidarity and common humanity to stop an atrocity in the making. End the cycle.

Dear corncob, lest you forget—Hamas killed 22 Americans this week and is still holding Americans hostage. You are paid to represent AMERICANS, not terrorist organizations.

I thought age was nothing but a number to Dems.

And youthful offenders are a huge problem over here. Given how these kids have been indoctrinated, they are probably far worse.

So what is her solution?

Just allow Hamas to keep killing Israelis while expecting no retribution because they hide behind Palestinian civilians?

Not that it would be easy, but at what point do the Palestinian people who are not on the side Hamas take matters into their own hands?

Sounds like AOC should open her very own abortion clinic in Gaza!! Israel blew up the only Planned Parenthood Clinic located in Gaza and the timing is perfect for her.

People forget Hamas was voted into power by the people of Gaza. When you vote for a terrorist organization don't be surprised when they do terrorist stuff and the other side retaliates.

AOC, now do Israel. They also shouldn't have to live tolerating innocent people being blown up in buses and restaurants. Israel should be commended for trying to compromise all these years, but their patience has ended.
As the Israeli reporter said, "the experiment is over."

Provide a big barge and relocate all Palistinians to Egypt then level all of Gaza and incorporate it to Israel.

If Iran interferes target the frickin fanatical religious leaders with drone strikes.

Make them live underground like moles

Obviously, not all of those 2mm people are Hamas fighters or members, but how many are providing material aid? How many are explicit supporters? How many provide at least tacit support?

If Palestinian election results are any indicator ... a lot.

The bill is due, vapid bar girl. Watch and learn. The Israelis are about to teach you about the wages of sin, or if you prefer: Realpolitik.

For those insisting on differentiating between Hamas and the Palestinian people as a whole, as recently as March 2023, 58% of those polled by the Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research supported armed confrontations.LINK pic.twitter.com/FkM5OlJiaT

And from June 2022, "59% view armed attacks against Israelis inside Israel as serving the national interest in ending the occupation and 56% support these attacks" LINK

well Egypt says no and Egypt saw a drastic decrease in suicide bombers when the corner was closed. Why does Iran not take them?

Your point stands (and I agree with it), but here are some things to consider ...

Hamas, on the ballot under a different name, won a plurality of the vote. Less than 50%, but higher than any other contestant. Fatah was about 3% behind.

Fatah runs the PA, which is supposed to govern both of the Palestinian territories (technically they have jurisdiction over Gaza too, although Hamas runs it).

The PA/WB are far different than Hamas/Gaza. ~3% swung the outcome for Gaza.

No new elections have been held since 2006. That's 17 years of consolidating power/control that was originally seized by a 3% margin.
