Who you got?

Rangers in 7. Bruce Bochy has won 13 of his last 14 playoff series. Just unreal.

What's unreal is that the Rangers can't beat Houston in Arlington

The team that runs the MLB is gonna win of course. Houston in 6.

Dusty is going to roll the ball out to the mound, then go sit in the dugout, and and hope that his team carries him to the WS.
Bochy is going to manage his arse off to try to give his team any advantage possible to slay the dragon.

Y’all Astros fans are going to be very disappointed when the Rangers are heading on to a WS.

I like the Rangers to win four.
If it were a 13 game series.

Not sure how to answer the OP's original question, but the Astros win regardless. Pretty easily too.

Bochy won titles with the Giants. Dusty did not win titles with the Giants.

I think it depends on which Ranger team shows up. If the team plays like they did against TB and Baltimore show up, I think the Rangers have a good shot to win in 6 or 7. Astros are so good in the playoffs and Texas has take advantage of opportunities. Can’t afford to make critical mistakes against the Astros because they will make you pay.

Nobody knows what they'll get when Chapman comes in for relief. Could be unhittable. Could load the bases. I sweat profusely when he comes into the game and wants to close my eyes.

quote:Reminds me a lot of the 'Stros when they rebuilt to go on this run and couldn't get through the Rangers, then they did and the dam broke. It may not be this year, but the Rangers are coming for the crown in the AL. They have gone through two of the favorites to win the pennant to this point, now they get their crack at the evil empire.

This is literally every arm out of the pen outside of Leclerc, who's arm is going to fall off somewhere between Games 4 and 5
And yes, there will be a Game 5, because the Astros are not winning back to back against anyone at MMP

Thumbs up for calling us the evil empire.

The Astros have found ways to overcome Dusty's inability / reluctance to put the best 9 on the field time and time again, and I think they do it again against the Rangers.
Dusty will put out a lineup that makes everyone scratch their heads, and the players will make that irrelevant. I don't think Dusty is the x-factor with this team. They have too much talent up and down the lineup and on the pitching staff, which I think should minimize the number and magnitude of actual managing decisions.
Paw paw needs to sit in the dugout and focus on sucking toothpicks.
