The Jewish story destroys their basic narrative. For thousands of years Jews were enslaved, exiled, murdered, oppressed, and basically hated by everyone they came into contact with.
Yet through hard work and tenacity they emerged from that condition to become a wealthy ruling class with sovereignty and self determination.
Blacks argue that because of slavery that ended 160 years ago, they can never recover.
The Jewish example is a real inconvenience to their argument. And they would prefer it to not be such a success story.

It's very confusing because American Leftist Jews are one group in the USA that's been very supportive of BLM in the past - probably to the point of being a very large financial contributor of BLM.
However, BLM is a Radical Leftist organization, and it makes sense if other Leftists support them.

Sort of. It’s borne of resentment and vengeance against the West, of which Israel is a part. Everything BLM (and other leftist activists) wants is “dismantling” and “disrupting” They tear down and destroy but never build anything. So supporting the destruction of Israel is consistent.
