History Lesson - Islamic killing of Jews. Eventually they come for everyone....

When Mohammed fled from Mecca in 622, he went to Medina. At first, he entered into an alliance with the Jews. He studied in their study halls and adopted many of their customs into his incipient religion (e.g. not eating pork). But when, after two years, Mohammed could not convince the Jews to accept him as a prophet and convert to his religion, his attitude turned toward open hostility. He instructed his friends to murder and decapitate Ka’b Ibn al-Ashraf, a renowned Jewish poet and chief of the Banu Nadir (date farmers tribe), and ordered his followers, “Kill every Jew you can.” 2

This Hamas attack is vile and horrific, it is however not unprecedented in the history of Islamic vs. Jewish people.

It’s what the Koran tells them to do.
It’s not complicated, just read the book.
They need a New Testament/reformation because this is what you get when you tell people god wants you to kill nonbelievers.

It's VERY complicated.
KORAN means "Recitation", which is open to interpretation.
The BIBLE is "The WORD", which in NOT open to interpretaion.
Mohammed wanted to be accepted by the Jews but was laughed at. This caused him to persecute and attempt to purge all Jews from the Arabian Peninsula. Within 50 years from Mohammed's death, there were NO Jews living in Arabia and very few Christians.

Mohammed didn't write the Koran. He was illiterate. He told his story to others who wrote it down.
Don't forget, the Jews of Arabia at Mohammed's time were successful people. All of their property and businesses were taken away, little by little.
Pride and ego are NOT of God and Islam reflects this clearly.

Most will refer to a cherry-picked except from surah 2.190-191 ("kill them wherever you come upon them"), but that is a very, very bad translation and is usually taken out of context.
The context is the fight between Mohamed's followers and the pagans at Mecca who had persecuted them, NOT the Jews at Medina. "Them" was neither the Jews nor the Christians; it was those specific pagans. Second, the two verses read together are clearly a reference to a defensive war. Last, the Arabic word does not translate as "kill," but rather as something like "engage in mortal combat or warfare." Elsewhere in the very same verses, the text says NOT to (basically) kill innocents.
In other words, it is entirely possible that Hamas THOUGHT it was following the Qur'an, but they clearly were not. To the contrary, their barbaric actions are directly contrary to the text of the Qur'an.

Just sent that to my kids, my daughter asked me the other day why the Muslims hated the Jews. I didn’t have the best explanation. I said it went back to Abraham and the rift between Issac and Ishmael, but it didn’t go so violent until years later when Mohamed showed up on the scene

And yes, the Qur'an compels violence against non-believers.

I was told today they aren't part of "our civilization" and so frick em. So which is it? The reality of the threat of Islamist totalitarianism and their inability to coexist peacefully with The West, or "frick em because they are Jews"?
Personally, I think if we let them kill all the Jews they'll forget about us and peace and harmony will reign.

Eventually a decision has to be made by strong men with the fortitude to carry out what they believe is the correct course of action and endure all that comes with making that choice
1) endure this kind of thing popping up every now and then in cycles costing relatively small amounts of lives each incident but a massive amount over the entire history of them
2) eradicate all of the people who perpetuate them to save any of their future victims.
Weigh lives saved vs potentially horrific modern day killing of people like we have never seen before to offset various small scale attacks adding up over time. I am not advocating for one as I dont consider myself a man that i laid out above or am able to do it.
