Strange that MLR would be uninsured.

Yeah, that’s odd. I figured that all medalists would be attached to some training club or university that would offer insurance.

That said, I’d support allowing anyone that wins a gold medal for the US being eligible for VA health benefits. Provided they treated our flag with respect during the games.

I was 14 in 84, I may have had bad thoughts about her. Sending funds to make up for it. I hope she pulls through. Loved her energy.

You know I haven’t thought about it until just now, but not only did I manage to never catch C19, but I’ve only been genuinely sick once in the last couple years since I got the vaccine and booster. And that was just a stomach bug, gone in under 48 hours.

I’ve always been pretty healthy and had a good immune system, but seems like for most of my life I would get sick at least once a year. Now I’m beating my average. Thanks Pfizer

How is it that every time Taylor Swift gets brought up on the OT, multiple posters will comment how they think she looks like a little boy bc she’s not curvy, but yet you weirdo boomers all had a hard on for this 4’9” midget with a square jaw, and Justin Bieber haircut who is equally as curveless as T-Swift??? It defies logic

All that said, it’s very sad to hear about her health, and I feel for her children. She had a legendary athletic career and is a great story, I simply don’t understand the attraction

Yeah, you wouldn’t do shite, tough guy.

You punched all your friends and family who got the vaccine in their faces?

Well I was doing gymnastics at that time, and she was the top American female gymnast, I’m not sure what else a 14yo has to explain about his spank bank material at that point in his life. I was a fan of Nadia Comaneci too.

That I don't understand. Nadia actually looks pretty good nowadays but she was a homely teenager.

yet i dont think it got much publicity at all, other than a few crowd shots of MLR during meets..

I think that was the way Mary Lou wanted it. She was a supportive mother and the daughter was the competitor.
It was fun to see her whooping it up at the gymnastics meets, though.
Praying for a solid recovery. She is an American icon.

My professional guess is that the pneumonia is caused by a MDR bacteria. Multi drug resistant.

Praying for Mary Lou and her family. So sad she doesn’t have insurance. Was
so fun seeing her when her daughter competed for LSU.
