Will people show up this weekend? I see it’s a “sell out”

Make going more convenient and people will go.

Not everyone wants to spend an entire Saturday sitting on campus drinking. They have other things to do.

Unpopular opinion. I know that’s the highlight of a lot of peoples lives.

Id rather eat good food on my couch with a zoomed in view and have cold drinks in easy access.

All of this. You nailed it. Unfortunately it will never be convenient to go. That’s just the Louisiana way

How do you suggest they accomplish this?

So then don't buy tickets, and don't go.

If we don't this weekend we wont for rest of the season...it's Saturday night, last annual schedule Auburn game before expansion, highs in the mid 70's and clear skies.....if you don't wanna come out to this, you clearly don't care much for live college football

Sorry you’re not bright enough to navigate traffic.. getting dropped off at campus ~430 and expect to sit in minimal traffic on the way out.

95% of the idiots sitting in hours of traffic leaving the game are self inflicted. I’ve never had issue with traffic leaving the games because I don’t park in pay lots with all the masses and don’t try to take the same main route that everyone else is trying to take. It’s not rocket science.

As long as Baton Rouge keeps contra flow traffic, we may never see another full sell out

So your solution to solving traffic is getting rid of contra flow. Care to explain how this would fix the issue?

So what sober activities should LSU add to encourage more people coming?

It's not "convenient" to go to ANY major college football game. Traffic and tailgating, lines for the bathrooms and concessions; they exist everywhere. Go to any school's message board, and their fans complain about the same things.

Those things aren't going to change. Just stay home. No one will even realize you're not there.

A good start would be bring back the parking policies that you had before turning every lot on campus to parking pass only. I believe this is the biggest problem with traffic before the games.

If parking and traffic scares you, there’s a shuttle service from Lauberge and downtown that drops you off 5 mins from stadium. Or is that too inconvenient?

So, people are overcrowding the few free lots left, and the paid lots are not being filled, creating traffic coming out of those few particular lots?

I'm not familiar with how accurate this is, but at least you offered up a possible solution.

Traffic after the game is by far the number one reason that I hear from people.
