also, the internals are still the same. this is just a "reconfiguration". it's nice they're adding an option disc drive.

Looks like they changed the plates as well. So the official plates they sell now in different colors presumably won't fit.

No real clue. Some people on reddit that claim to be insiders are leaking Nov. 2024 but that could just be based on pattern. I don't think they have real info.

Ps2 is still the sexiest console imo. I will eventually make my PS5 look like PS2 once I order the side panels and black controller. Thinking even putting some blue and green lights somewhere.
