Intermittent oil leak from truck

2017 Silverado. Only leaks when parked overnight, and not every night. Not any other time. Every few days there's a small spot of oil on the driveway in the morning. Any thoughts on what may be causing this?

I had to tighten the bolts on my valve covers to stop leaks. It was an older truck and I suspect the gaskets had some shrinkage.

As best I can tell the middle part of the engine, dead center.

Tighten up the oil filter and check around the oil cooler lines. It's going to require a visual inspection, a really bright light helps.

Can get a dye kit with light pretty cheap.

Check your oil pump, oil pan and valve cover.
Pretty much has to be one of those.

Its probably leaking while you are driving as well, but the leaking oil is being blown or wiped by the wind from driving. My go to process is to warm the engine up and spray the offending area down with engine degreaser, pressure wash it off and let it idle in place to ID the leak area and go from there. Good luck.

Not sure about that. It sits at work several hours and I never see oil there. It seems to only leak when it sits long enough to get completely cold . Another theory is my driveway is on a slight incline so I wonder if that could be a factor Anyway, I'll take it in for service but I was wondering about any insights. Thanks for the suggestions.

Similar situation. 2005 Nissan Titan truck. Didn't seem to leaking (no at least didn't show any evidence of a leak) except when parked overnight. In the morning, there would be a drop or two of oil in the driveway.
It was a part directly behind the oil filter. An oil cooler, perhaps.
Spare me the abuse for not remembering what it was. It was 5 or 6 years ago and I'm old!
The mechanic showed me the old part after replacing it. It was cylindrical shaped, about the same diameter as the oil filter, and maybe about 3" long.

Might get a engine cleaner, clean the motor.
Then see if you see anything after a few days.
Set cardboard under, see if you can locate the spot it’s dripping from.
I had a ford truck, the oil sending unit on the side of the block. It was like that from the factory. Started leaking about a week after I bought it.

You've got to give us more to work with, like at least identify what part of the engine it is coming from.
