Which is the reason why you and the others said it wouldn’t happen this year. I remember it well

I have time next week to bump them

wait a couple weeks. That will be after LSU plays a defense that’s actually good.

You really are an insufferable twit. I’m beginning to wonder if you’re a racist, or just a stupid LSU fan.

Nope. LSUs schedule is about to prove my take right. And if it doesn’t well frick it but I’m pretty confident it will.

If those are the two choices I can guarantee I’m just a stupid LSU fan. Hahahaha

Yes he has. The passing game was hardly ever on schedule last year under Jayden. Different story this year. It’s on schedule a lot more this year and of course he can pull it down and gash defenses when it’s not

You have to be joking. Kelly developed him?

Encouraging sign for the future
BK or Sloan or both. This bodes well for LSU. The success and growth of JD5 from his first LSU spring game to now is night & day.

This is a far cry from what CLM & CEO did for any qb that entered & exited the program. BDJ came to the program a grown azz man.

This new foundation of actually developing a qb @ LSU should have an impact on highly recruited qb's HS & portal alike. Great post hope for the future!

Not to hi-jack.

That's all well and good but I'm a degenerate for a smothering defense. Looking forward to how that side of the ball is going to develop, looks to be one season out for average & a minimal 2 seasons for slightly above average. Smothering

Like Joe Burrow?

Like Jayden Daniels?

Teach the kid to know when to slide. He’s lucky he’s got all his marbles.

Go read his post history from yesterday, SFP. He melted his face off saying Kelly should still bench him.

I’m actually impressed by the offense.

I will give Denbrock some credit for changing his offense up a bit. It's the biggest difference (and not BK).

He's using more pistol and starting more in the pistol as to now show our running side, which has helped our running game. Last year he was running extremely vanilla and unvaried/uncreative run schemes with minimal RB talent and basically Daniels had to create our entire run game off the zone read threat. Better presnap movements and a RB talent increase have given us an actual running game.

Our route combinations are much better, too. I was worried after FSU that it looked like our WRs weren't able to get off man coverage, but we've done a lot of formation shifting, presnap movement, and route combos to get guys open.

I don't think Daniels has developed as much as Denbrock has, which is allowing Daniels to be Burrow-esque.

Oh you mean our QB will stop playing at historic levels and will be more like a normal, elite QB?

I’ve made several posts about this.

Denbrock is shocking good this year.

It’s a complete reversal on the coordinators this year.

If you want a great example from yesterday, that late TD pass to Nabors was not something we'd have run last year.

It completely shredded the zone coverage (in combination with JDs amazing pocket presence).

I think there is also the chance that having a legit #1 (as opposed to a fake #1 in Boutte) has helped make the offense less predictable, but that's why I focused that post on our changes in the running game.

We need to use more straight up pistol. I was arguing that from the high heavens last year. Last year if we ran, there was a 90% chance it was a simple zone read. Defenses can tee off if they don't have to worry about any sort of run, and making it so obvious did just that.

Missouri's defense is ranked 26th in the country genius.
