Seems like LSU doesn’t have a deal for the whole team like other programs. Why is this?

Despite all the claims of LSU fans being rabid and willing to do anything for their team, when it comes to giving money, LSU fans don’t put their money where their mouths are
Personally, I will never contribute to an NIL fund.

The fact that you aren't aware of the collective speaks volumes.

The whole NILSU bullshite has been a scam and worthless yet our admins beat their chest when they released it when NIL went live.
The retards thought that kids wanted to get to college first to get NIL deals instead of fricking wanting NIL deals to land them at a school

I love LSU and support them plenty. I have my own limitation though. I just can't get behind feeling responsible for buying players. If that's the new college sports world then so be it, I'll support them still without paying for the next can't miss recruit.

Yes we do, 7th nationally in total athletic donations 2005-2022.
Stop regurgitating bullshite you see the ignorant posting without any basis.
ETA: because this apparently needs to be reposted over and over again. LINK

I wonder if it will ever get to a point where LSU goes & asks specific alumni to donate.
With the amount of successful athletes LSU has produced, you’d think we could easily raise 10’s of millions
Shaq
Joey B
OBJ
Jarvis
Honey Badger
Patrick P
Lael Collins
Bregman
Nola
Gausman
Lemahieu
Garrett Temple
Naz Reid

I mean we have the two highest paid female athletes by far, but we are definitely behind when it comes to football

This has to be it. You get all these basketball, baseball and everyone else to do it. I mean you're never going to compete with the oil money but all LSU has is the "celebs" from the school but they sure as shite have a lot of them.

LSU was a bit naïve when it came to NIL. They envisioned the Angel Reese and the gymnastics chick type things instead of football programs using it as pay-for-play.

From everything I have heard and people I have talked to, the LSU Collective is WAY WAY behind other programs. Miles behind.

Guess how I know you are a follower of Matt Mascona? Any chance he gets he beats the drum that LSU doesn't have any money when that is totally not true.

$10 a month from every LSU fan would go a long way in making up the NIL gap. This is how you get the best transfer portal players. I don't like it but it's the new way college football is going. Just don't be mad next year when we miss out on a stud CB/DB in the portal and some other school gives them a better NIL deal.

That list alone, not including the biggest fish (Shaq), has total career earnings of $850M. There are a ton of other names that I left out as well

Bayou Traditions money goes to every player on team
The recruiting NIL is only a select few people right now but LSU is about to come out with something new
