Notre Dame is usually over hyped and over ranked - just like BK

Never should have hired a guy from a school that gets every break and which is habitually over ranked.

It’s almost clear why ND fans weren’t sad to see BK leave…

and whose schedule is 80% chumps.

ND got it done last night when it counted. We could have too, but we didn’t

Where in the frick are you getting this? They had a full on meltdown when he first left.
First there were reports, to which they scoffed at because why would a coach leave the majestical ND for another school that is lesser than them (because every school is lesser to these idiots).
Then he left and the realization set in. They couldn't believe it. They were pissed. They had no clue who would replace him and where the program would go from there.
Then they went into defensive mode and it became "He was pushed out. We were basically telling him to get lost. Good riddance."
Sure, they might be happy Kelly is gone now. But they absolutely were not "cool with it" when it all first went down.
And just look at the weird bullshite they still do to this day. If they were so happy the guy was gone, don't you think they'd be focused on their own program and where they're headed?
Or do you constantly see ND fans worried about what's going on with LSU and poking their fat faces into our forums and conversations because they simply cannot get over BK for whatever odd reason.

kelly doesn’t even look like the same coach on the sideline that he was at Cinn., or in his first few years at ND. He looks like he cashed a Jimbo check and is just going thru the motions of playing the role of a coach. Saying all the typical generic things you expect a football coach to say at a press conference. Being an a-hole to reporters who are doing their job, after cashing the first check of a 100 million dollars contract and then getting embarrassingly arse kicked in another game to what his peers, the football coaches around the country, saw as another inferior team to LSU. Two years in. He looks disinterested and confused and too well paid to really care.

BK is a good coach. Two tough losses vs one team who is still top 5 and another with one of the best offensive playcallers and game-to-game scheme magicians in football.
ND is a good team this year. Hartman may be the best QB in the country. Duke (of all things) is a dangerous out this year, and ND went there and survived.
LsU will be fine under BK. He's moving things in the right direction for long term success. He'll likely be the next LSU HC to also catch lightning in a bottle for another CFP run as well.

You are talking to people who:
A- want somebody immediately fired at the first sign of trouble.
B - can make themselves believe whatever the hell they want
Our fan base is made up of flat out morons. No nice way to put it.

We? With an ND flair?
I love that you forgot to switch over to your fake LSU account before sending this.
Oopsie.

You really are misinformed. Kelly was a polarizing figure ay ND from the beginning. A small percentage of alumni supported him- the same guys who supported Weis and Willingham. But almost nobody actually believed he was a good representative or a top tier coach. He is a self serving prick who constantly blames players for losses.
I am sorry say that his tenure at LSU has only one possible conclusion: a shitshow with tantrums, pathetic losses, excuse making, recriminations, lack of competence, poor effort as a recruiter, and hostility toward the LSU fan base.
I like LSU, always have. But he is going to do some damage before he leaves. You will all end up hating him.

This is a crazy statement. Kelly was by far the best thing ND had in a generation.

Thanks for immediately validating my point about how you weird fricks just lurk around and create accounts to give your dissertation on why your ex coach is a bad guy.
You guys happy with him leaving? Great, maybe move on then instead of acting like he took your virginity and never called you again.

ND kept Weis for 5 seasons and fired him, they kept Willingham for 3 and fired him. Kelly was at Notre Dame longer than any coach not named Rockne and would have been there longer than Rockne had he desired to stay. It is irrefutable that the bulk of the ND online presence scoffed at the reports Kelly was in the running to be the LSU head coach. Somebody with real power must have liked him.

Maybe and maybe not. Only time will tell. How much did he damage ND? They are much better now than when he got there.

This is LSU, an unfortunate vocal group of our fanbase ends up hating all of our former coaches
Many of us have irrational dislikes for many of them

I am not interested in confrontation.you want to have faith in Kelly? Knock yourself out. But understand that your view that any ND alumnus feels like a jilted lover is wildly inaccurate. He is loathed by a plurality of alumni, and you will loathe him too. It is inevitable.

Kelly's patron at ND was our widely loathed AD, Swarbrick.

You lurked on an opposing team's forum, created an account, and actually took time to write this up.
Think about what you're doing. Get a grip.
