Hopefully, the league needs more young QBs to step up. But make no mistake, it'll start getting harder for him now that there's more tape on him.

He's making elite throws, reading defenses well, and anticipating the throws.

It's different than someone like Vince Young or RGIII.

I keep hearing this argument, but how many true elite QB has each era typically contained?

Right now, we have the following that either are or soon could be considered elite if they continue their current path:

Mahomes
Burrow
Allen
Herbert
Hurts
Tua

That’s six names. I struggle to think of another era that had more than six elite or potential elite in their prime at the same time.

It’s not common at all. Only time we see that is if it’s a running QB which Stroud is not
