I'm 39 so I'm well beyond the age of most adult Church single groups.

I would think that with all the new ways there are to connect with people of similar interests this would be easier.
I had to blindly approach my wife and risk rejection, on the spot. Have you ever tried that?

It’s getting shitty all around. Society’s neutering of many men and porn’s and social media’s hypermasculinizing (new word alert) of men.
I saw a thread - maybe the comments on a Tik Tok video, can’t remember - of girls talking about how many guys choke, slap, degrade, call names (slut, whore), expect anal, be too aggressive when having sex. Maybe the women were all lying or whining, but I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s what’s going on. Porn is absolutely degrading society, and it shouldn’t be excused by anyone.

From my experience women love to be dominated and controlled in bed, but do a shitty job of communicating these things.
They want a guy who makes decisions and takes responsibility from them.

I think many of y’all are a little over dramatic. Kids still date, vast majority of my kid’s friends have been in long term relationships, some are married and most still dating. I think y’all read a random quote or watch a video and take everything as fact. Boys in big cities are going to be different many times than suburban or rural boys. Same with girls

Urban folk seem to have a social issue with traditional dating. Country folks and small town folks still meet the old fashioned way.

There’s a difference between being assertive and pushing the boundaries of abuse. As mentioned earlier, women (and men) are primed for pair bonding. Once that bond is established, you open the door for high quality sex in whatever form you want.
Some men expect sex immediately and think women immediately want BDSM. That comes from porn, not reality.

I think a lot of the issue with people doling out advice on these topics to men on the internet.. is that they’re not considering who they may be talking to.
“Normal”, semi attractive and charismatic dudes are trying to give advice to men who very well may be autist neckbeards. (I’m not saying you are; I don’t know you)
Yes, grabbing a couple beers at Superior on weeknights will be 100% for decent looking, normal, charming dudes getting plenty of female attraction. Likely not so much the case for a dude who comes off as weird/creepy/autistic/etc. Which I think the internet is more comprised of than people think.
