Former 5* G and Kansas transfer Arterio Morris arrested & charged with rape

Morris, a former McDonald's All-American who transferred to Kansas from Texas in the offseason, was suspended from the program earlier this month after settling a misdemeanor assault charge with a plea deal stemming from another incident that allegedly took place in Texas.
Morris then transferred to KU this offseason before being accused of rape in late August at KU's McCarthy Hall, the on-campus living quarters where men's basketball players reside.
According to the documents, Morris is facing "a minimum of 147 months to a maximum of 653 months in prison and/or a fine of up to $300,000 and 36 months of post-release supervision."
