What does it say that he had never heard of the brave cave? If it’s true it’s bad for him. If he is lying it’s bad for him. What does it say about Broome that she hired him? And what does it say for BRAC/LABI/Engquist/Lipsey/etc that they backed Broome and will likely back her again?

Well he only got the job because they fired Kiran.
And BRPD needs to be disbanded and allow the Sheriff’s Department to cover the whole parish including inside the city limits.
