The Blazers are not expected to keep Jrue Holiday and are looking to trade him immediately

What could we offer? I'm not sure which contracts we could send out. He's 33m and 34m next two years

I wish Jrue would come back to NOLA but I don't think it would ever happen

We don't make moves that help our program.

If I'm Portland sending Jrue to Philly I probably want a package built around Maxey coming back. But Portland doesn't need Maxey. That means another team would need to get involved. Not saying the Pels, but you do wonder what facilitating moves the Pels could get in on.

Nahh, I’m not trading CJ, Ingram nor Zion for him, and that would have to happen.

I could see a package of Jrue to Philly with Harden to Clippers and assets from both to Portland working for all involved.

We only got the largest trade return of all time at the time on our last mega deal.

I dont think an aging 2 guard would be considered the same as a top 5 player in his prime... not a great comparison

We have a taller version of Jrue on the team already. His name is herb Jones.

I don't see anyone saying POR got a huge haul.

I'd say most of what I'm seeing is whatever, but it would side a bit towards them getting less than expected.

They got a pretty good haul for an aging lillard on a mega contract. They’ll probably flip Jrue now too.

No I wouldn’t. We already have a defensive nightmare in Herb. CJ gives us elite shooting, something we desperately need and something every single person on this board always clamors for. Jrue doesn’t offer that.

Right, it's a trade, it was fine.

I don't really get the Pels melting, at least not the reasons they're melting for.

Being bummed that our Bucks picks that all the talk recently was they're going up in value took a hit. But the other stuff, it's just silly.

Defensively Herb is equivalent to Jrue. We’re not talking about trading Jrue for Herb though, you trade Jrue for CJ then you downgrade your offense. We’re already a top 10 defensive team, offense is where we have been struggling. We don’t need to make moves to make that worse.
