Power 5 teams are majority black players these days
The only thing that hasn't caught up is head coaches
Sanders is paving the way for those minority coaches for the future while Mich St coach Mel Tucker did the opposite

Some of these coaches need to look at what Sanders did, he used the HBCU as a springboard to this level
So many coordinators have been passed over so maybe this is an avenue for those coaches to get their experience with less pressure. Isn't Eddie George still coaching at a HBCU? Maybe he's the next one that gets a shot like Deion got.

It’s Mike Freeman, so not surprised at all.

Three of Colorado's last four head coaches before Deion were black.

I’ve been told this is just the beginning. They think it’s a given that next year will be better.

Marcus Freeman is black, right? You know, the head coach of one of the most iconic football programs in the country (love them or hate them)...

Or does he not count because of his white wife, well spoken demeanor, and lack of gold chains?

They make it pretty damn obvious that their version of "black" doesn't actually have anything to do with race and is instead based on behaviors.

The idea that an historically white football program like Colorado's is suddenly a Black team

Hahaha ask anyone if they can name past CU football player and the answer will be a black guy. The only white guy you might get from anyone under 50 would be Jeremy Bloom only because he was in the Olympics.

I can’t believe Oregon’s coach hasn’t been canceled by these people for curbstomping Colorado and basically telling Colorado to frick off.

The media is why people can’t stand Colorado. It has nothing to do with race and nothing to do with the players. Hell, it really doesn’t have that much to do with Deion other than him leaning into the media nonsense.
that’s the whole reason they hired Coach Prime… the wins so far have just been a bonus

It's actually over. The white liberals who own the media and the blacks who worship race are both relics. These two groups just don't know they are relics at this point.

You must have a crystal ball because this article and thread seem to show that it’s still very much alive.

The Colorado being black America’s team stuff will die off in late October once they realize Colorado gets cold.

The PAC 12 has already had 2 Black Head Coaches win multiple Conference Championships & multiple COY awards . David Shaw 3x & Willingham. I'm going to continue to check the boxscores for Shadeur, but I mostly tapped out after week 2.

Hell, didn't Karl Dorrell win Pac 12 COY at CU during the Covid year, too?

I just checked. Dorrell actually won COY at CU and UCLA.

Media always beating that race drum. It's insulting to black people. Might as well be a Joe Bidenism. If you don't like Colorado, then you ain't black.
