The New Orleans Pelicans are signing forward Kaiser Gates on a two-way NBA contract, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. Gates averaged 14 points on 55.4 percent 3-point shooting for G League Long Island last season.

You guys got jokes in this thread, but he's got a quick and high release as well as shows some points off of cutting to the basket in this GLeague game where he scored 30 points.

I'm not saying "No Trey, No Problem", but if he can defend, he might have taken Landers Nolley's 2 way contract.

What a coincidence.Just yesterday over breakfast my wife and were discussing Kaiser Gates and whether his 3 point shot was legit.

That leaves us with 1 roster spot and 1 2way contract

Good signing, just shooter insurance. Expect the team to up its collective 3pt rate. No need to bring in a bigger contract for spot shooter with TM3 getting back for the 2nd. half.
