sounds like you need something besides coffee. have you tried tea?

While I haven't tried their decaf I'm a big fan of the San Francisco Bay pods from Amazon when I need to use pods. The top is paper and the bottom is a coffee filter material so it doesn't give off that plastic taste that I've found some pods have. It also seems to make a better cup than other pods I've tried.

I don't use pods, but Publix has a decent Columbian decaf. Maybe they put it in pods or you can use a reusable pod?

decafe coffee makes as much sense as meatless hamburgers.

I am sensitive to caffeine. I rarely drink coffee, though I enjoy the flavor. If I do drink it, I drink decaf. I get the flavor without a racing heart. That makes sense to me.

Community decaf pods. Get ours at Sam's. Great rich Community Coffee flavor.
We drink decaf after 3:00 or 4:00 pm. If I do caffeinated in late afternoon or evening. I find myself going to bed at 10:00 or 11:00 pm and still staring at the ceiling at 3:00 am.
Worries the cats, who come by every hour or so and asking, "Da are you ok?" Not so bad when they do that, except they ask with a worried look in their eyes and their nose about 1/8 inch from my face.

I think you may be drinking cough syrup.

Same here.
My nephew gave me a box of McDonald's decaf pods he bought by mistake. They were very good.

I like sleeping and have become sensitive to caffeine. So I mix decaf and regular for a big mug in the morning and no more caffeine for the rest of the day.
Lavazza + Publix Columbian decaf makes a good mix, though I try others, like Gevalia or Community from time to time.

Is it possible some people like the taste of coffee? Yes, I'd rather have regular, but since gastritis is miserable, I'll take what I can have.
Thanks for the recs.
