Yeah so eerie-feeling this young fellow dealing with such a horrible ordeal! I’m so praying and hoping the tumor is benign and/or the rest of his brain and body will have a clean bill of health. I know it’s not that simple, but I’m fast forwarding to a positive end result for this young man and his family.

The post that was removed 48 hours ago the person said they knew it was a tumor so not sure how they knew that - but this sucks and I’m praying it’s not cancer.

Most brain tumors aren’t cancer. That’s the good news. Hoping for a speedy recovery for GB3 and prayers up!

I absolutely hate alternate uniforms but I would absolutely be behind this 100%.

I have 2 parents and 2 step parents, 7/8 of my grandparents and step grandparents are still alive while I'm in my mid 30s. I consider myself blessed to be able to say that. The one that I did lose however was to a brain tumor, my grandfather on my stepdad's side. He had "successful" surgery where for about half a year he seemed to be free of it, and then suddenly it came back in full force and was inoperable and he passed about 2 weeks after the reoccurrence.

It sends a shiver down my spine to see a kid in his early 20s with his whole life ahead of him be dealt this hand. Sometimes you just want to cry and shout this can't be fair. I'm praying for the absolute best and hope that Greg Brooks can kick this thing's arse. I want him to be able to get the diagnosis that the tumor is removed and will make a full recovery and he and his family can embrace and look forward to a future together. This isn't even about football anymore.

Praying for the big guy. I hope they got it all and he can go back to doing what he loves, or at the very least, lead a normal happy life.

Wow, I wasn't expecting that.

Prayers from TigerLand to Heaven for Greg's survival and speedy recovery.

How scary for a young man his age and the family.

At his age the tumor that would be of biggest concern is a glioblastoma. This is the one that has a very high mortality rate in younger patients.

It’s unlikely we see him play for LSU again depending on the location of the tumor even if it is a benign tumor like a meningioma. Can only hope he survives and is able to live as normal of a life as possible.

this is the primary point.

As much as I love LSU football - it takes a huge back seat when these concerns are on the table.

Prayers for this young man to enjoy a normal life from here on out.

Forgive my ignorance, but what does gray have to do with anything? Is it associated with brain tumors or Greg personally? Regardless, if that’s the way the team feels is the best way to honor him, I’m all for it. Prayers to him, his family, his LSU family, and all his friends.
