We are toast as a functioning society.
Kudos to the Dems for coming together and pushing it, though. They have complete control of all narratives all the time. Something Rs could only dream of ever achieving.

If it’s DeSantis vs Biden and DeSantis wants to make Biden’s ethics (lack thereof) a focus, DeSantis will be able to lay the case out clearly and convincingly.

Another issue is that the right (or rather, the people on the right who end up being the figurehead for this type of thing, like Gaetz) are completely horrendous at selling the GOP's position to anyone other than the conservative base. That entire wing of the GOP has zero credibility on bringing actual evidence to the table for any given issue.

This is why it matters that the Republicans take their time in building the case.
