Will be bringing the family to Disney World in November. Wanting to get a new pair of tenny-kicks now to have them broken in by the trip. Do the bright minds of H&FB have any good recs?

Lol as much as I have been wanting a pair of those, I don’t think this will be the best time to give them a try!

You would be correct. You definitely need to get used to them before doing an all day trek at Disney World

We goto disney every year and Heydudes is all I wear. Averaged about 20k steps per day for 7 days.

Hokas are pretty damn comfy.

I recently bought a pair of ASICS at Academy for $50. Sort of an impulse buy because I needed some quick (old Brooks had a blowout). I can honestly say it is the most comfortable tennis shoe I have ever worn, bar none.

I have looked at Hokas but just have a hard time getting over that huge sole.

Hoka Cliftons arent as bulky as the rest. Brooks Adrenaline are another good choice. NB fresh foam line are really comfortable.

No one ever mentions them for some reason but Saucony are very comfortable.

Nike Pegasus. Can probably find some 38 or 39 models a little cheaper than the new 40. If you're interested in ONs, the Cloudsurfer and Cloudmonster are the only ones I've tried that have some cushion.

Shoes are unique to the individual. Go to a running store and get your feet scanned. Buy whatever they tell you based on the data from the scan.
I have extremely high arches and narrow feet. After the scan, they recommended Mizuno Waverunners. I didn't question and bought them. They've been great for walking long distances or running.

Try stuff on. I've had shoes I love and then they change it a little the next year and it sucks. Gotta rotate. Lately I run in Endorphin Speed and walk around in Kinvara (12 maybe?). My favorite shoe ever was an Adidas clima cool trail shoe from 2012 or something. They never made it again.

Puma running shoes I find very comfortable.
