Feeling betrayed, what can Kelly do to win your trust again?

For me, it’s let this game be a real competition between those starting and those who want to be on the field. Let your starters know upfront this is a competition, and only play them for a half or a quarter. Let’s see who wants it more.

He can start by putting the quarterback under center in short yardage situations. More crossing routes in the passing game. Some outside runs, a wide receiver jet sweep and a screen pass or draw to the running back occasionally. Then let Perkins primarily rush the passer.
Also, teach the kick returner to not run out kicks that are caught in the end zone.
I like Kelly, I believe he is a very good coach. I am baffled by what I saw against Florida State. All those off season months to come up with that?

Most of us placed a great deal of trust in Kelly. Yes, he betrayed that trust by not preparing his team well enough and not having a clue.

There shouldn’t be a scenario where Nuss doesn’t play an entire half.
Regardless of everything being talked about in the last week, this should always have been a game the coaching staff planned to get him significant snaps

I don't know, that stuff he said about Perkins, really had me feeling like he doesn't know the difference between Notre Dame and LSU. Getting him ready for things later instead of playing for what LSU needs now isn't what we need in a head coach. We need someone who plays the players for LSU's needs now. And then it not being the team he thought it was, after he gets paid $10 million a year. That's something anyone could have said that is getting paid $0 a year. He sure fell a long way
