Should also find a place for this:

"Baton Rouge happens to be the worst place in the world for a visiting team. It's like being inside a drum." - Bear Bryant

Really need something like this where visiting team runs out since we don't let Mike sit there any longer.

Maybe a pic of him roaring with this quote, or the more recent one by Urban Meyer would be cool.

I’ve noticed the “nicer” tiger stadium has gotten the past 15 years the less intense the atmosphere. We haven’t had one game match that 2012 Alabama game since then. Maybe up until the Alabama game this past year.

I think we’ve been resting on our laurels and the best day of tiger stadium are behind it.

This is actually kind of a cool idea. I’ve heard so many things from opposing players / coaches / fans over the years about playing in BR. Could be cool to scatter those quotes in places across the stadium.

SE Corner of the stadium near the visitor locker room.

LSU thinks they can charge more after 2019 when they went 11-12 throughout 2020 and 2021. It's pissing people off. Season ticket prices are increasing. Economy got bad. Trump rolled back the tax write off for season tickets.

LSU is always behind in terms of how the fan experience should be, and they keep taking steps backwards.

It will always be 97 Florida for me. Greatest game experience I ever had.

Castrated the student section. It's now the place to be "seen" and then head to Tigerland in the 3rd. Let those kids sneak in all of the liquor they want, play Neck during TV time outs and make it rowdy again in that endzone. Hate it all you want, call it trashy, but that stadium gets rocking when that student section is just trashed and partying in the stands.

People don’t want to admit that this is true. Tiger Stadium gets up every once in a while but it’s not what it was pre-expansion.

Florida 2019, by far one of, if not the best game that I have ever attended. Before, during, and after.

I went to both the '07 and '19 Florida games, and no doubt '07 was louder. But I would still put '19 up there among the best I've ever experienced.

Posters have bellyached ever since the 2003 season that the atmosphere isn't the same, but it's still as good as ever for big games. Holly Rowe mentioned during Florida-Utah that our game against Bama last year had the highest decibel readings of the season.

Maybe because people left Louisiana for Tennessee and don’t go to games anymore. Or maybe we remember things bigger and better 15 years who when we are 12-13 years old.

That 07 Va Tech game was lit too. It was a block party all the way from Fred’s to the tailgate area. Cops gave 0 Fs.

Corporate shell of the old Tiger Stadium. Is what it is.

I see this sort of sentiment all the time and I don't think there's really any truth to it.

The main reason people seem to think this is true is because the vast majority of TS games are against lame opponents.

This year we are currently slated to play ONE ranked opponent in Tiger Stadium - TAMU. Sure, we have conference games against Arky, Auburn and UF and someone could be good this year, but in general, we get 1-2 marquis games a year.

2007 was such a fun season to recall because we played Va Tech (remember when we used to play home and home series against top tier teams?) plus THREE ranked SEC teams at home - SC, Auburn and Florida. It's easy to look at a season like that and think it was such an awesome atmosphere because it was.

It's hard to replicate that sort of energy when you are playing Grambling and Georgia State.

You really need not look any further back than Bama in 2022 to know that the stadium can and will rock when it matters most.

you haven't been around much, have you?

The best Gameday atmosphere for me: was 2007 Florida. the moment Dan Borne announced USC's loss and the whole fricking place came unglued. the loudest sound I have ever heard before or since.

2012 Alabama was the greatest atmosphere I've ever seen and we lost the game. Pregame was electric. The student section was absolutely incredible. I'll never forget the absolute explosion of sound on the Jarvis Landry TD catch. There was a pause before he caught the pass and it was deafly silent, for a brief moment. Insane.

1997 Florida. I'm old enough to remember this game. As a 6-year-old, I got to go down on the field with my Dad. I'll never forget that night.

The JC Copeland catch and run down the sideline to close out the 3rd quarter and carry into pre-game/Callin Baton Rouge to start the 4th was incredible.
