Yes, the only Coen brothers' movie I never liked. I said this then remembered Barton Fink. Sucked as well.

You liked Lady Killers and Hail Caesar but didn’t like The Big Lebowski? Strange.

If you have coaches communicating by texting a coverage before snap than that would be an issue
It could be number coded before snap and even in huddle
Definitely chicken shite if any communication was happening during plays

It could definitely have been used to help communicate to overcome a very hostile environment in.....

*checks notes*

....their home state.

All BS aside...

Is it legal to wear watches in CFB?

And WHY wear them?

I'm sure they'll be suspended for a game in 2 years.

According to the NCAA, wearing of any electronic signal devices is illegal except in certain circumstances. Those certain circumstances would be a medically prescribed hearing aid of the sound-amplifier type for hearing-impaired players or a device for transmission or reception of data specifically and only for purposes of health and safety.

Apparently illegal for apple watches.

Probably because they always wear them and just not even thinking about it?

But to think(not saying you specifically) that they could be have been used for cheating is pretty ridiculous. It would actually be ridiculous to use one to cheat period . Thinking logically.....you're assuming there is enough time for a coach/manager to see a coverage, pick up his phone, and send a message to that Apple Watch on a network which is being completely overloaded by people uploading all sorts of shite to social media.....when it would take significantly less time for a hot route to just be relayed onto the field.

fwiw Marvin Harrison Jr. wore one against Wisconsin last season.

It appears Harrison's use of an Apple Watch would fall under the second exception, in that it can be used to gather biometric data

Then there should be a punishment

Mason sat out this game for less.

SportingNews has an article about Marvin Harrison, Jr wearing one last year stating that the biometric tracking is likely what makes them legal to wear.

Very unlikely they all had "medical exceptions"

What if they were using it to communicate with the coaches in the booth?

So both WRs have medical conditions requiring them to wear apple watches for "health and safety"?

I think that would be an easy review from the game. Are they looking at their watches before each play? I’m assuming someone would have seen that from a mile away.

I've yet to read anything anywhere stating they needed a medical *exemption*

I really think some of you need to read a little bit slower. Not sure where you guys are coming up with the "medical condition/exemption" narrative.

Well that would be illegal.

Now do you have any evidence showing them communicating with the coaches? Do you even have a picture of them looking at the watches at all?
