He looks like he hasn't fully recovered from his knee injury or it might be the new injury he picked in camp. But either way he doesn't look healthy and it doesn't look like something that will get better quickly.

Which is another stupid decision unless Smith is 100%
What is gained by him playing against Grambling? What is the best that could happen? Nothing
What is the worst that could happen? He reinjures his ankle and is out for indefinite period including all SEC games.
Sit Smith this week....stop being stupid.

Yeh I know he's playing but he's clearly not going to be 100%. I'm concerned its going to affect his level of play, hopefully not all season.

I would not play him, let him rest up for a physical game against MSU. Why take a chance of aggravating the knee. Let him sit and get ready for SEC play.

He also said we need to be realistic on Smith’s progress and he is on a pitch count. Maybe 30 snaps.

They need to leave that man out until he fully recovers

Why not? What if he is close enough to 100% that his chance of reinjury is the same as Wingo’s chance of injury?

I thought I noticed that during the live broadcast when they showed him camera in Sunday. Hopefully it's just the way he walks

He needs live snaps to get ready.

Grambling is perfect opportunity for a limited role. You don't go overly conservative on this.

Something I noticed is he's a REALLY big man.

Seems that could be construed as a negative by some because of the height and trench warfare. He's got a lot of length to protect (knees, etc).
