Bertman for not having the balls to do what Mal Moore did: Back a fking dump truck of money and load it on Saban’s lawn.

Since then, we’ve had 2 cartoon characters and a used car salesman.

Yes, I’m bitter. End rant.

Lsu would not have had to do that. Saban wanted to come back after the Dolphins debacle. Lsu decided Miles was the man for the job.

Saban never expressed a desire to return to LSU after his Dolhins gig.

NEVER

That's bullshite.

It didn't happen.

What he did do was to stir the pot at Alabama during the Rich Rod debacle. Alabama was the target, not LSU.

Saban was never coming back
And he was a nfl candidate every year he spent at lsu
The only thing saban did was show lsu how to do it and left the blueprint as lsu was a dysfunctional mess before he became head coach
Without saban there is no way this run lsu has been on happens

Only he’s admitted leaving LSU was a mistake, whether or not LSU was on his radar the second time around, who knows

Pretty sure one of the reasons Saban left in the first place was that LSU wasn’t big enough for both he and Skip.

He wanted a shot at being a head coach in the NFL. No matter what college he was coaching for and no matter what kind of money the school could have offered, he was going to the NFL

Yes he did. Reports from very credible sources stated so. Lsu will never admit to it because they made the wrong decision. Mens basketball and football are the two main shite shoes at this university

That’s an ignorant statement. He certainly did express an interest in coming back to LSU. Maybe only to an inner circle of LSU brass, but it’s a fact he wanted to come back. Skip was the main reason it didn’t happen.

Saban wanted to coach in the NFL. It was an ego thing and money was not going to make the difference.
