Gifts for a guitar player

Probably a light topic for the cats on this board, but I've got a buddy turning 50 next month. He's an avid player, tech and teacher. I can't really drop the kind of money that would impress him on the stuff guitar players REALLY want, but any of you have any ideas for just a nice, modest gift?
Many thanks!

What type of music does he play?
Is he more of an acoustic or electric player?

A personalized or custom guitar strap off of Etsy runs about $100.

Can always use another guitar stand, cables, strap locks, etc..

Used to be mostly electric, but pretty sure he's more acoustic these days.

I guess it might help to know your budget.
"Modest" might not mean the same for all of us.
I'm a cheapskate, you might not be.

We're on the same wavelength, pretty much!

One of those crazy expensive guitar picks. “Blue Chip”. Ridiculous for a pick but only 30-40 bucks out of your pocket.

Anything personalized would be cool. I’d be excited to receive any of these personalized with my name or initials:
Guitar strap
Picks
Tuner
Pick holder
Cleaning cloth
Sticker for my case
Gift certificate to a local shop along with any of the above
Or:
Pack of random sized cables (Ernie ball sells a set that’s small patch cables and a few different length cables with it)
Pack of assorted weight strings and some picks.
Strap locks
Etc

If you don't know what he already has, this is probably your best bet.

40 years ago, a now deceased friend of mine bought me a guitar belt buckle.
I still have it.

Why does your guitar need a belt?
Suspenders probably work better.
Just kiddin that's a cool gift.

It's very cool. Strat-style guitar, brass, looks really good when I shine it up

Just don't wear it when you're pickin. A brass strat probably leaves a deep mark.
