There has to be something closer than that, huh? All the way to Lee?

and large versions of the DSLD homes, baw.

How are they large versions of dsld homes? Because they are modern design?

Also the few large very modern (seemingly with no curtains) whitewash homes are grotesque as well

So let me guess, you like old ranch homes

Don’t worry about it, couldn’t afford a house in there anyways

But you certainly don’t have any taste.

Not exactly, how about how when you take a look at a DSLD home most homes in UClub look like those houses on steroids

So let me guess, you like old ranch homes

Not quite, I’ve very much drawn to federal style and not much else.

Why is the the go to phrase when someone doesn’t like something about UClub in this thread? I said I think the homes are ugly not that I’m poor. You’ve constructed a classic straw-man argument

But you certainly don’t have any taste.

Sorry I don't want to live in a beige paradise (lots of home in UClub look similar to this)

Some of y’all’s perception of time and distance is a little off.
It’s not “30 minutes to get to anything”

I just went from uclub to Albertsons in 8 minutes

Baton Rouge is pathetic when it comes to quality country club lifestyle.

What does this mean?

Uclub and CCLA have nice golf courses, nice clubhouse, nice pool, tennis courts, and a bunch of stuck up white people with some nice white people mixed in

What the frick else is there?

I live here now. I like it. Little more pretentious than I’d like, but you don’t have to deal with any Broome Rouge residents which is a huge plus. Don’t care if that sounds racist or is racist, it’s the truth.

We shop at Albertsons and it doesn’t take 25 minutes like some drama queen said.

Golf course is nice, but I don’t play with any of those fruitcakes that live in here.

Majority nice families, the retirees are welcoming which I live next to so it’s nice and quiet.

Haha so you don’t think that house is extremely nice?

Let’s be honest less than 5% of people in LA can afford houses like that, but yet we apparently have almost all of them posting on the OT. They can suddenly afford to be very picky and say uclub houses are cookie cutter contractor grade spec houses which is plain and simple fricking laughable, period

Since you have such great taste why don’t you post pictures of your house?

I don’t live in BR and don’t really have a dog in the fight but I find it so funny that so many on the OT have so much money that they can shame the houses in one of the most expensive neighborhoods in BR and the whole state.

Calling Uclub houses spec or tract houses is ridiculous

Yeah making fun of something is definitely a sign of jealousy............... O-T Lounge must be full of jealous people.

It is when 99% making fun of it live in old homes form the 70/80s

It is when we are talking million dollar homes that are worth 5x the median home BR.

It is when we are talking one of the nicer neighborhoods in the state

And how long have you been around? The OT is 95% jealous fricks who literally hate anything nice but complain about things that aren’t nice.
