re: With Biden most likely not running for office, what is their reason for holding back?

The lib playbook(page 52):
If male candidate meets unfortunate death prior to election, make a spectacle/tribute to candidate and run candidate’s wife in his place. The closer to the election that his untimely death occurs will determine the stupid Fuking white suburban Karen vote needed for victory.

Right before the election, they pull him, so they can justify just sticking Newsome in.
Logistically, this idea is almost impossible. They would not even be able to change the name on ballots after the convention, and it would be a total chaotic clusterF to try and nominate someone different at the convention or even elect "Biden" after he was dead and then try to get the electors to vote for a different consensus candidate.
If they have not publicly replaced him within the next two to three months, they're riding the Biden train off the cliff.

What makes you think he isn't running for office?
And did you listen to him in Maui? Holy shite, dude. Talk about unsympathetic & insincere.
He’s done. Hiding him in the basement won’t work a 2nd time. Add to that, people are tired of his progressive policies that have doubled costs, divided the nation, & strengthened our enemies. And people are waking up to what he did as VP.
Even CNN has started to shite on him. Game. Over.

Does he have to debate or interview? He will always have a sympathetic moderator/interviewer. No one challenges him now - even when they have the chance - and no one will during whatever vaporous "campaign" his handlers bother with.
It's all about eliminating Trump. They do that, they can run a rotten piece of plywood and be assured of victory.

He is done, but with Kamala drooling at her shot it will be hard to deny her. And at any point RFKJ can challenge and threaten to go Third Party if they deny him the debate stage. Dems rigged their last primary but this one won’t be as easy.

How do you solve a problem like Kamala?
This is the kicker no doubt. How to keep the black vote happy, especially after moving the first primary to SC to appease that vote, with why she is getting replaced by a white man. Maybe his quick VP pick will need to be another diversity hire, but who? Only good, least unknown baggage, rising star on the Dem side is PAs Gvnr Shapiro. May be to early to burn his card though.
Moochele is an option obviously.
The other posters comment on Harris promise to SCOTUS, is legit, but how does that get announced/used to help squash the concerns of people who are upset about seeing her taken out of the WH?
Lots of things can happen. I wonder legitimately when would it need to happen. At or right before the DNC convention?

That's it on the politics side.
He's too big a liability even with rigging, but Joe thinks he actually won and wants to run again and keep making that generational wealth.
The Dems and Uniparty want him gone but can't impeach him because he'll get pissed and roll over on Obama and Clinton for their part in Ukraine and wherever else shenanigans.
And they know Harris is worthless, no way to prop her up.
They have to find an easy offramp for the Biden syndicate before they slip Newsom or Mike in.. while keeping Kennedy sidelined.
I'm curious to see how they thread that needle. The timing will be right at the last fricking minute.
And I think their pick depends on whether or not they can get Trump out of the race.
It's hard to factor in how much rigging they can get done this time, but at this point..
If it's DeSantis they'll put Newsom up.
If it's Trump they'll want Mike to come out and run.. but they REALLY don't want to do that. Risking assassinating Trump and a DeSantis/Newsome fight would probably be a better option for them.

I thought about this. I think it’s likely because they’re afraid of actually having to take RFK seriously. Right now they can dismiss him because Biden is the sitting president but if he announces he’s not running they open the door to have an actual primary which scares them to death.
You should think about it some more. No sane person would vote for ultimate kook, RFKjr.
A debate between the two would be hilarious though. You'd need subtitles to understand half of it.

Gretchen Whitmer would be the Democrat's best option imo. She would be very hard to beat in the general election.

Of course it’s going to be bait and switch.

My prediction is that he has to resign for health reasons in early 24 allowing Kamala to become first woman President. They will do this late enough that all the other potential candidates . Can’t mount campaigns in time for Primaries. In exchange, she will agree not to run. Then, they’ll basically appoint Newsome as the nominee claiming the need to be unified and coalescing behind one candidate to stop the orange monster.

Trump is the likely GOP nominee and has made his entire campaign about how Biden is prosecuting him for political reasons. Once Trump has the nomination sewn up you just remove Biden and suddenly you have Trump's main campaign theme destroyed and have a nearly 80 year old man running against someone much younger that doesn't have any scandal baggage.
Then be it Newsom or Whitmer or whomever gets non stop positive attention from the media as they do lots of softball interviews and fawning. The press suddenly starts realizing that having a guy around80 as President is a terrible idea and run story after story about it showing pics of Trump looking old and running with every rumor they can that he has health problems.
Trump starts to fall behind in polls and people get discouraged. He has no money to counter with campaign ads an no ground game. People start screaming about how it is all rigged and don't bother to vote. The Dem candidate wins by 10 points and gets good sized majorities in both Houses.
I really, really wish I was wrong but that's almost certainly the plan and most of you can't wait to fall into the trap.

It's just an obsession amongst very online right wingers. Same with being cuckolded.
They think the plan is to get a black woman to be president by any means necessary. A lot of them thought Kamala would've forced Biden to step down by now.
If not a black woman, then a gay man - Gavin Newsome. Or Michelle Obama is actually a man and she can do it (some of them actually believe this).

When none of this even remotely happens will you say you were wrong or that people like you bringing it to light prevented it?

RFK has a disapproval rating with Dems of about 80%, he's never going to be their nominee and it's only Republicans that think he has a shot. He could only have a shot as an Indy and that hurts Republicans more than Democrats.

Whitmer or Newsom beat Trump by double digits. A debate with Trump would be a freaking bloodbath because they are good at slinging BS and Trump would be down in the polls and have to accept whatever debate terms offered so he will get the Chris Wallace treatment again. Simply having Trump on the stage next to a younger fresher face is enough to doom him.
Democrats are laughing at us right now.

What makes you think he isn't running for office?
His rapid decline in health.
The democrats ran FDR in 1944 despite him being on death's doorstep. The Republicans ran Reagan in '84 despite him starting to show signs of Alzheimers. Both parties do not care about the health of their candidate. They just care about their candidate being able to win. Besides the democrats are too invested in the diversity game to run Newsome. They know that if Biden is reelected he will not be able to finish his term and Kamala will become the first Madame President.
