Taco Bell is more surprising. That place got sneaky expensive.

They still have a couple items for $1 each.

Best deal they have is the steak-egg-cheese breakfast sandwich. Rather large meal for under $9

This.

Also, best deals are just getting the sandwich. I go often and get two foot longs for $20 or less.

And they don't take coupons either. fricking stupid.

I know a guy that owns a couple Subways and mentioned that I had received some pretty decent coupons in the mail. He told me to throw them in the trash and if I ever see any anywhere else to throw them in the trash also. He accepts them at his stores but claims Subway doesn't reimburse them for any coupons or specials. No idea if it's true but it wouldn't surprise me because Subway is notoriously shitty to their franchisee's.

That’s why

Paid like 14 dollars for a footlong subway club the other day. First and last time to eat there for a long long time

Fast food is neither fast nor cheap anymore.

This. I try to find local places that do blue plate lunches. Meat, 2 sides, cornbread. 10-15 bucks. Much better food for same cost and still fast

Don’t go to fire house subs if you think subway is expensive.

A Mexican pizza, burrito supreme, and a medium drink at Taco Bell was $15 the other day. Ridiculous.

Chili’s has a “3 for $10” deal or something close to that.

Get a burger, chips/salsa and bottomless drink (non alcoholic). That’s a better deal than a lot of fast food now.

But I will say McD’s has upped their game with the toasted buns now.

The little mexican to-go places inside of gas stations in my area can usually get you a good meal for <$10.

The owner of all subways accepts no coupons in Alexandria. Worker told me food cost was high and they couldn't find help . My response was just close .
