Pool people spin-off, skimmer question?

Having trouble with grass getting past both skimmers and into skimmer before pump. Hoping someone has a trick to keep from having grass and such get past the pool skimmer. Also, for anything past settled underneath skimmer has anyone used a wet vac or anything to help get that up? Any and all help is appreciated.

My pops swears by the Ariel solar powered pool skimmer. He said it’s get everything! Bugs, flowers, grass, leaves…. His neighbors behind him have 2 massive trees and he says the Ariel goes about 3-4 days before needing to be emptied. It’s very quiet as well.

I have an Ariel and it's cleaning the top of my pool as I type this. I think this (solar powered skimmer) along with the nets you put in your skimmers should solve your issue. Given the fact those nets could restrict water flow to your pump if they catch a lot of debris, you might want to adjust your valves so you have more water being pulled from the main drain of your pool (reduce stress on your pool pump).

I recently acquired the Betta Se and am amazed at how clean the surface of my pool is. The solar powered Betta runs constantly and we empty it once a day. Having crepe myrtle and cypress trees near the pool, it is a necessary tool for pool maintenance.

I also just got the betta se and it’s awesome. As with anything that works in water you should buy the extended warranty.

They make socks that fit over your skimmer baskets. They are game changers. Nothing gets thru them. They are on amazon. Can be cleaned and reused if needed.

Also, does this negatively affect your pump?
