Had the uneasy feeling for a couple of days now.

Suspect I'll be looking at 125-135 come morning. Gonna watch it try to wrap that convection around the eye before slipping off to bed.

That’s an interesting move for Uber. I can’t imagine there are many drivers signing up for it.

The rain and wind is picking up in Cedar Key, Florida ahead of Hurricane Idalia. Considering a reposition north. Dangerous storm surge expected here Wednesday morning. Live stream begins at 330 am

My parents staying with family in Tville make me slightly relieved as at least they have basement if trees start falling. Plenty of friends in Lake Park and Valdosta area and the former may get a pretty close shave if not direct hit.

Something tells me they won’t be making much off tips.

Yeah the time to announce for Uber rides was 6 hours ago. Especially for these one road towns.

Unless I owned something with a 6 inch lift.

Hell up here in ATL metro, I nearly flooded my car driving through the Kroger parking lot.

The 2 am could potentially update strength. Right now, just position.

They wont move much until another plane gets in there.

Right now it is raining kind of hard and there are fairly high winds here in Parrish. But it is pretty tame compared to recent hurricanes in Florida (2017 to present).

This storm holding off on the strengthening until the middle of the night is awesome, not just because I don’t want the damage to be as bad, but to see the wishcasters on Storm2k get upset at every update. They think every storm could be a cat 4/5. They are finally realizing this one won’t be a cat 5.

They have a couple of members that have hit the landfall yearly… I wouldn’t clown on that bunch.
