Report: Archbishop Gregory Aymond covered up clergy abuse for years, continues to do so

He also ignored the board's findings of clerics accused of abuse:

Here is one more article that is lengthy but worth the 10 to 15-minute read. Goes into detail about the specific priests who he covered up.

This is looking to be very similar to the Boston Scandal in 2000 and it makes me sick.
Being raised a Catholic and trying to maintain my Catholic faith is very difficult with this scandal. I stopped going to church because I could not in good faith support an institution that continues to cover up abuse for decades.
Archbishop Aymond clearly cares more about the reputation of his church and pedophile priests than he does about victims, many of whom have taken their own lives. I hope and pray this gets more awareness and people stop donating to an organization that has paid 20 million in attorney fees to protect these monsters.
If your kid goes to a catholic school, talk to their counselors and principals about how your kids are being kept safe. This has to stop. End rant.

If the Catholic Church wants to regain any credibility, they should send these type of priests to the Vatican and hang them.

Committing men to a life of abstinence has consequences. It’s terrible children have to pay the price for it.

This is how you know the Marxist left has infiltrated the church, because they feel the same way about violent criminals and their victims.

I saw this list like 10 years ago, what changed from then to now? Not excusing it but duh, we know this already.

which plaintiff do you represent?

If I ever found out that somebody violated my kid, that person would not be around to deny the claim

Not trying to defend evil priests but just because they’re accused doesn’t mean they’re guilty? I mean you can’t just put them on the list first, investigate, and then remove them later…

For me it was the systemic sexual abuse paired with a trip to the Vatican.
Seeing priceless paintings and statues piled up in corners because there wasn’t enough room while half the churches members globally lacked sufficient food and access to clean water was just too much for me.
There is no way that is the vision Jesus Christ as outlined in the Bible had for his church and there is no way that I’ll take moral advice or chastisement from men who would let little boys be raped and their parishioners starve in Africa with Rembrandts stacked up 3 deep in some minor library room no one cares about other than tourists and their guides who can’t even remember everything on display.

I was a Catholic school kid for 13 years and my kids are currently enrolled in Catholic schools. In those 13 years I've never had any issues. My wife and I have talked with our kids about if any inappropriate things ever happened, where they felt very uncomfortable, for them to come to us what-so-ever.

Baptist is the oldest Christian religion. Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist into the baptist faith
