FYI: I have nothing against Jews. Well, except this one a-hole I worked with, but it isn’t because he’s Jewish, he’s just an a-hole. Every group has assholes.

The Republicans are by and large, an ethnically white party, that supports traditional American values.
The Jewish community has prospered as the country has become increasingly more diverse, and much less traditional. It would be illogical for the Jewish community, as a whole, to turn around and support the Republicans. There are Jewish families of course that have supported conservative causes, the Himmelfarbs for example, and Monticello was saved from destruction by a Jewish man who idolized Jefferson, but these are generally exceptions.
AOC is a good example of how this policy can backfire, but on the whole it's still been quite good for the Jewish community.
