I have bought tickets from all over the Southeast, so I get emails from a lot of venues.

Seems like everything I open is for Nas, Lil Baby, LL Cool Jay, Drake and so on.

I know KISS is touring, Aerosmith and The Eagles have announced last call.

I guess time just keeps ticking along.

If these are your examples of good rock tours then most of those bands are either retired or dead.

The 70’s were 50 years ago. Those bands are old AF, and their members are often dead or in poor health.

My affinity is for bands 15-25 years old, so most of them are still touring

What the hell are you talking about?

Almost every huge rock band is touring right now - or at least playing one off shows

the Killers - touring, small run in September, played some US shows last week
Kings of Leon - played Europe earlier this summer, probably working on a new record
Foos - extensive touring soon, lots of dates
Weezer - currently extensive touring all summer

The Foos

They took a break when their drummer died, but they're back and headlining every major festival.

The Killers,

Literally just came through the south on tour like 3 months ago.

Kings of Leon

Actually not on tour at the moment. I think they're in the studio.

Weezer

Currently touring Japan. They'll be back in the U.S. in late August, but mostly playing the Western states this fall.

Someone mentioned liking Aerosmith and AC/DC. I was pointing out that all the dudes in those bands are in their 70's, so a lot of the bands from that time period either tour less or tour with a lot of replacement members because the original members are dead or retired.

Rock doesn’t exist anymore. It died in the late 90’s.

There are numerous rock shows here in Houston.

House of Blues
Warehouse Live
The Woodlands

I've seen Goatwhore, Godsmack, Otep, Nekrogoblikon, Ace Frehley, and several others in the last month or so.

Mudvayne is coming. Between the Buried and Me is coming.

There are shows out there. You just have to check all the ticket websites.
