Rohan Davey in 2001 actually threw for 21 touchdowns but because the NCAA did not keep bowl stats in with regular season games until 2002 he’s only credited with 18

If anything his yards are what would be more impressive. Same with Josh Reed's stats.

While we're at it add Pistol's freshman stats to his total as well

May as well add the extra points, as if we had the three point line, if we are aiming for "Equity".

there is a difference between bowl game stats and 3pointers and Jv stats.

Pete never took a 3 point shot in college. there was no line.

Rohan actually played in a bowl game. we just don’t count it vs some players it’s counted.

Well, it sounds like you don’t consider it meaningless

I watch LSU games for fun as many others do. Watching a blowout game, having friends over for drinks, and putting out a spread of food doesn't make a game meaningful. It is just something enjoyable to do.

But you commented on how bowl games are meaningless... right?

If you're going to keep up with stats, why not do it correctly?

Agreed. Barry Sanders won the Heisman anyway after one of the greatest single seasons ever, but there are over 200 yards rushing and 5 TDs from the Holiday Bowl that aren't officially recognized, just because. It's stupid.

Yeah just because you have a party for it doesn’t make it mean anything to you.

Not the same thing. One's a "what-if" scenario, the other is stats from games that actually occurred.

No that would actually make some of the older athletes closer to stats of today. More games today and a more wide open offense. Can’t have any older guys actually looking like they could compete with the youth of today. Ban that thought process.
